Wineeld Taylor Wilson

Oxford: Wineeld Taylor Wilson, 83, died peacefully at his home on April 5, 2016. He was a lifetime resident of Granville County, the son of the late Kenneth L. and Julia Victoria Hobgood Wilson. He was a Supervisor for many years at Mount Hope Finishing in Butner. Mr. Wilson is survived by one son, Ken Wilson of Durham; three daughters, Patsy Wilson Artola of Raleigh, Brenda W. Lawrence of Wilton, and Cynthia Johnson of Oxford; four brothers, Roland Wilson of Oxford, Julian Wilson of Oxford, Charles Wilson of Clarksville VA, and John Wilson of Fayetteville; one sister, Jane Wilson Jones of Panama City, FL; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded ineeath by Wayne W. Wilson, Kenneth L. Wilson, Jr., William T. Wilson, and Osie Wilson Ayers. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday April 7, 2016 at South Granville Memorial Gardens, Stem NC by Reverend Jimmy Hall. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Community Home Care and Hospice, 152 Zeb Robinson Rd., Henderson, NC 27537.
