Mrs. Willodeen Goodwin Wagner-Moore, 80, of Providence Church Road, Pittsboro, died October 13, 2011 at her home. Born neember 1, 1930 in Chatham County, she was the daughter of Daylon Goodwin aneeunee Hillard Goodwin. Mrs. Wagner-Moore was retired from UNC Hospitals and was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church where she was the first womaneeacon and former chair of the board of deacons. Survivors include her husband Wilbur Moore; children, Hal Wagner and wife Frances of Smyrna, TN; Debra Wagner White of Pittsboro, Amy Wagner Whitt and husband Richard of Siler City; Robert Cecil and wife Vickie of Chapel Hill; sisters, Myrtle Wall of Garner, Ava Overton of Raleigh; grandchildren, Jenneer Wagner of Chapel Hill, Daylan White and wife Erica of Pittsboro, Mary White of Pittsboro, Nancy Wagner of Winston-Salem; and great-granddaughters, Sadie Walton and Natalee Clark. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wagner-Moore was preceded ineeath by her previous husband Johneenry Wagner; a son, Stanley Wagner; and grandson, Robbie Wagner. The funeral service for Mrs. Willodeen Wagner-Moore will be held at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon, October 16, 2011 at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. The Rev. Dan Robinson and Rev. Wesley Thomas will preside. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 6 pm 8 pm Saturday at Hall Wynne Funeral Home in Pittsboro.
