William O. Buzzie Page

William O. "Buzzie" Page, age 88, died Tuesday morning, March 18, 2008 at Durham Regional Hospital. A Durham native, Buzzie was born to the late Walter E. and Sarah Halliburton Page on January 26, 1920. He was a WWII veteran who served in the U.S. Army. Buzzie later worked for American Tobacco Co. for 44 years before his retirement. He attended Grove Park Chapel in Durham. Buzzie is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Edna Nichols Page of Durham; and his niece, Phyllis Page of Greensboro, NC. Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 20, 2008 at Maplewood Cemetery, Section 4, with Evangelist Rod Sharp presiding. Friends may visit Wednesday evening, March 19, 2008 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Hall-Wynne Funeral Home.
