William Gerard Cunningham

William G. Cunningham, 78 of Galloway Ridge, passed away on August 14. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ethel and their three children, Kathy, Muffie and BJ and 2 grandchildren, Daisy and Liam. A native of Brooklyn and a graduate of Villanova, Bill spent his career in banking and real estate and lived in Madison, New Jersey for 31 years. Bill voluneered his time mentoring youneeneepreneurs. He was active in the Catholic Church by serving as Eucharistic Minister and Lector. Bill was an avid tennis player and amateur photographer. The viewing will be held at The Newmaneenter at 218 Pittsboro Street in Chapel Hill at 10am followed by the Funeral Mass. Donations canee made to Covenant House, 5 Penn Plaza, New York, NY 10001.
