William Clarence Denny

ROXBORO: William Clarence Denny, age 92 of 3715 Denny's Store Road, died Tuesday, May 15, 2012. A native of Person County, he was the son of the late J.W. and Ruth Pritchett Denny and the widower of Ruby Watsoneenny. He was a lifetime member of Sharon Baptist Church, a retired farmer and an Army Veteran of World War II. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday, May 18, 202 at Sharon Baptist Church by Rev. Vernon Wilkerson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends after the service in the fellowship hall of the church. Surviving is his sons, Larry W. Denny of Atlanta, GA, J. Brent Denny of Roxboro; a brother, Harold T. Denny of Roxboro; a sister Alma D. Royster of Oxford; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Denny was preceded ineeath by a sister, Lillian Bullock.
