Stovall: William Chad Wilson, age 27 died Wednesday, August 27, 2014 in an automobile accident. He was a native of Granville County, and was the son of Kathy Capps Wilkerson (Junior Wilkerson) and William Wilson (Gail Wentworth). Chad was a member of Stovall United Methodist Church, where he was a faithful attendant of Wednesday night Bible study and a graduate of J. F. Webb High School. Chad was a loving son who had a heart of gold and would do anything to help someone, and always had a gentle smile. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, August 30, at Stovall United Methodist Church at 2:00 pm by the Rev. John Yount. Burial will be in the Stovall Memorial Cemetery in Stovall. Surviving in addition to his parents, are two brothers Billy Wilson of Stovall, and Lee Wilson (Amanda) of Bullock; a sister, Stephanie (Prissy) Wilson of Bullock; nephew, Mason Tuck of Bullock; maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Linda Capps of Stovall and Janet Cash of Oxford; paternal grandparents, Clyde and Marie Wilson of Stovall ; a step-brother, Jonathan Wilson of Oxford; a step-sister, Jennifer Wilson of Oxford; uncles, Kenny Wilson (Tammie) of Bullock, their children Zach and Josh Wilson of Bullock, Michael Capps (Kelly) of Danville, VA and Todd Cash of Oxford. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 29, 2014 from 7:00 until 8:30 pm at Stovall United Methodist Church and at other times they will be at the home of Kathy and Junior Wilkerson, and the home of William Wilson.
