William "Bill� Thomas Howard, Jr.

William "Bill Thomas Howard, Jr., 76, went home peacefully on Sunday, October 29, 2017. Bill, son of the late William T. Howard, Sr. and Alice A. (Hester) Howard was born November 10, 1940, in Granville County. He worked with J. P. Taylor Tobacco Co. for many years before eventually retiring. Bill is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Nancy Riggan Howard; daughters; Cynthia (David) Adcock of Oxford, NC, and Susan (Dennis) Williamson of Bullock, NC; grandchildren; Emily Adcock, Caroline Williamson and Kelsey Williamson; and aunt, Lois Hight. He is also survived by many family and friends. Visitation to be held at Gentry Newell Vaughan Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 10:00 am with funeral services to follow at 11:00 am at Gentry Newell Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel.
