Virginia Moss Sanford

Virginia Moss Sanford, 95, of Oxford, NC died Tuesday, August 25, 2020. She was born in Granville County on June 17, 1925.
Mrs. Sanford’s faith was very important to her. She was a long-time member of Stovall United Methodist Church where she served in many capacities over the years. When she worked, she was a Stringer and Inspector with Burlington Industries for more than 45 years.
Mrs. Sanford is survived by her son, Larry Sanford; granddaughters, April Preddy, and Kimberly Vargo; great grandchildren, Justin Preddy, Breanna Elliott, Makayla Elliott, and Brandon Preddy; and by so many other loving extended family members and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Sanford is predeceased by her husband, John Henry Sanford, Jr.; and her seven siblings.
A graveside service will be held at Meadowview Memorial Park on Friday, August 28, 2020 at 11:00 am with Rev. Johnny Yount, Jr. officiating.
