Viola Dunn Mckellar

Viola Dunn McKellar died on Monday, February 27, 2012. Viola was born in Durham, NC to the late Archie Lee and Lora Johnson Dunn on April 27, 1918. Viola was a loving mother and friend to anyone that she had the opportunity to come in contact with. Viola was a member of West Durham Pentecostal Holiness Church in Durham, NC. "She was a loving woman that would do anything to put a smile on the faces of her family and friends." Viola is survived by her sons Billy McKellar and wife Margaret of Hillsborough, NC, Rev, Donald G. McKellar and wife Yvonne of Taylor, SC; sister Peggy Penny of Durham, NC; grandchildren Glenn Michael McKellar, John Charles McKellar; great-grandchildren Ashlyn Marie McKellar, Taylor Nichole McKellar, Dalton Glenn McKellar. Viola is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Viola was preceded ineeath by her husband Manley Owen McKellar, five brothers and three sisters. A Funeral Service will be offered 11:00am Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from West Durham Pentecostal Holiness Church, 901 Alabama Ave, Durham, NC 27701. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Flowers are acceptable or memorial contributions in Viola's nee may be made to the West Durham Pentecostal Holiness Church Building Fund, 901 Alabama Ave, Durham, NC 27701.
