V. Anne Redick

-DURHAM- V. Anne Redick Valeria Anne (Stiff) Redick left this earthly world on March 1, 2016. Anne was born in Marion, Ohio oneebruary 9, 1934, graduated from Cory-Rawson High School, and attended Ohio State Uneersity, where she became an accredited radiology technician. She married Lloyd Redick of Jenera, OH, in June, 1954. Anne accompanied Lloyd on his journey through medical school, with the US Navy, the Uneersity of Kentucky, and lastly at Duke Uneersity. They moved to the Durham area in 1974, and have lived at the Forest at Duke since 2007. Anne devoted her life to her children, her church, and a number of other activities, including the Duke Campus Club and the Nearly New Shoppe. Anne was greatly loved and is survived by five children: Karen E. Hale (Michael), Kathryn R. Young (Donald), Thomas F. Redick (Katie), John M. Redick (Ann), and Daniel S. Redick (Dawn), 10 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Friends and family are welcome to a visitation at the home of her daughter, on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM. Memorial services will be held at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Durham, NC on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11:00AM, with reception to follow. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Forest at Duke at a later date. Remembrances may be made to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church (824 N.
