Todd Doak Bobbitt

Todd Doak Bobbitt, 45, of Durham died Wednesday, October 19, 2011 after a lengthy battle with CADASIL Cerebral Autosomal Dominant Arteriopathy with Subcortical Infarcts and Leukoencephalopathy. Todd was born and raised in Durham, attended Durham High School and graduated from N.C. State Uneersity. He worked for North Carolina State Government at the Department of Transportation in their Finance Department. He attended Temple Baptist Church where he was a member of the Cornerstone Sunday School class. Todd is survived by his children, Megan Grace Bobbitt, Macy Claire Bobbitt, Jacob Todd Bobbitt and mother, Candace Lockamy, all of Durham, as well as a large and supportive circle of family and friends. Todd was preceded ineeath by his father, William Ray Bobbitt. A memorial service will be conducted by Rev. Janet Whitaker, assisted by Rev. Norman Harris and Rev. Clay Warf, at 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 22, 2011 from Temple Baptist Church, 4504 Sterling Drive, Durham, NC 27712. The family will receive friends following the service. A private cremationeervice was held at the Hall Wynne Crematory. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Temple Baptist Church or Duke Home Health and Hospice.
