Steven Thomas Rosebrock

Dr. Steven T. Rosebrock, of Chapel Hill, NC, passed away oneeptember 4 at Duke Uneersity Medical Center from complications of diabetes.

A native of Speedway, IN, Dr. Rosebrock graduated as a National Merit Scholar from Speedway High School in 1966 and from Northwestern Uneersity Medical School in 1972. He had a 30 year career ineedicine, specializing in family practice aneemergency medicine.

Dr. Rosebrock practiced medicine while serving as a captain in the U.S. Air Force in Rapid City, SD and Omaha, NE. He later taught medicine at Lawrence Uneersity in Appleton, WI and maintained a family practice in Clarinda, IA, Burlington, IA and Indianapolis, IN. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved all aspects of nature from fishing to kayaking to spelunking.

Dr. Rosebrock was the son of Evelyn and the late Theodore Rosebrock, both active participants in the life of Speedway throughout their time here from 1946
