Ryaneesse Molinatto, age 16, died Thursday, February 20, in his Durham home. Born in Davidson County on July 5, 1997, Ryan was a student at Northern High School and a member of Christian Assembly Church. Ryaneever met a stranger. He could strike up a conversation with anyone, anytime, anywhere, and walk away friends. He was bright, intelligent, and could tell you the exact make and model of any vehicle on the road at any given time. He was tender-hearted. He was loved by many and well-liked by even more. He was a good-looking kid. He loved sports and was good at baseball, soccer and swimming but his all-time favorite was basketball. He loved kids and was good with them. He was a loyal friend. He loved his family, but most of all, he loved his best friend in the whole world, his dog Saint. Ryan is survived by his loving parents, Jon D. and Pam A. Molinatto of Durham, NC; his paternal grandparents, Jonathan J. and Virginia Molinatto of Bryson City, NC; his two brothers, Jonathan R. Molinatto and wife, Cheryl Ghesquiere Molinatto and their son, Cameron, of College Park, MD; and David P. Molinatto of Durham; his dog Saint; and many loving aunts, unees, cousins, and other relatives. Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, at Christian Assembly Church with Pastor Dub Karriker presiding. A private cremationeeremony will be held later at Hall-Wynne Crematory. Family and friends may visit Tuesday evening from 4:00-7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service. A memorial service will be held at Northern High School at a time and date to be announced later.
