Ryaneenegar of Durham, NC died peacefully oneebruary 3, 2016 at 11:50 PM. He was born oneecember 16, 1971. Ryan had been a Type 1 diabetic since age 13 which led to other health issues including kidney failure which ended his life. He had a genee spirit and was loved by friends and family. Ryan attended Wake and Durham Tech but became totally disabled at age 19 and later became a long time member of Threshold in Durham, NC -- a club house for people with mental illnesses. He was a Star Wars enthusiast and collector. He enjoyed playing the harmonica, guitar, saxophone, and piano before becoming near totally blind. He is survived by his parents, Bill and Carol Renegar, of the home, his unee David Renegar of Durham, his great aunts and cousins in Forsyth County, cousins in Yadkin County, and Raleigh, NC. A family and friends graveside service will be held at Bethel Baptist Church, 2232 Brandon Hills Road,Yadkinville, NC 27055 on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 11:00 AM. A celebration of Ryan???s life will take place on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at 4:00 PM at Lions Club Scout Center, 1850 Hillandale Road, Durham, NC 27705.
