Ruby May Bragg Maroney

Ruby May Bragg Maroney, 84, died August 17, 2013 at the Louisburg Nursing Center in Louisburg. She was a native of Vance Co. and was the daughter of the late Willie Bragg, Sr. aneelizabeth Dixon Bragg. She was the owner of the former Ruby's Place in Franklinton. Ruby attended the Union View Baptist Church in Franklinton and was also am member of the Red Hats Club at the Senior Center in Franklinton. Graveside services will be conducted Thursday August 22, 2013 at 1:00 PM in Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton. Surviving are sons, Michael Maroney and Martin Maroney both of Orange Co. New York, and Matthew Maroney of Franklinton; brother, Raymond Bragg of Franklinton; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. Ruby was preceded ineeath by brother, Willie Bragg, Jr. and sisters, Margaret Harris and Dorothy Collery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 11:00 Am until 12:30 at the Hall Wynne Funeral Home in Franklinton. At other times they will be at the home.
