Rosemary Kearney Phillips, 69, died on Tuesday, July 12, 2011. Rosemary was born in Franklin Co. NC to the late Anee and H. Willard Kearney on April 5, 1942. Rosemary was a faithful woman that received great joy through active participation withineer church community. She understood that she could exemplify her faith through service to her fellow man. By visiting with skilled nursing facilities, rest homes and other such establishments, she was pleased to tend and care for others who were less fortunee thaneerself. She regularly voluneered with the elderly and convalescent for many years. On many occasions, she would provide care packages with such volume that transportation would require the enlistment of friends and neighbors. Rosemary was privileged to have touched so many lives and will be greatly missed by all. Rosemary is deeply loved and will be remembered by her daughters Karen Freeman Thompson of Creedmoor, NC; Crystal Freeman Womble Danny of Creedmoor, NC; son Joseph Todd Freeman Tammy Renee of Wake Forest, NC; brother H. Willard Kearney, Jr. of Franklinton, NC; sister Annette Kearney McGhee of Franklinton, NC; grandchildren Lauren Thompson, Haleigh Thompson, Lineey Freeman, Aneew Womble, Anna Freeman and Allyson Freeman; great grandchildren Blaine Mann and Briley Mann. Flowers are acceptable or memorial contribution may be made to any charity of your choice. Services will be held on Friday, July 15, 2011 at 2:00 PM from the Franklinton Chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, 504 East Mason St., Franklinton, NC. A graveside service will immediately follow from Fairview Cemetery, Franklinton, NC. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2011 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM also from Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, Franklinton Chapel.
