Ronnie Monroe Morgan, 65, died February 22, 2017 at home. He was born in Wake County, NC on August 15, 1951 to the late Lattimore Jack Morgan and the late Elizabeth Langdon Morgan. Born and raised in Wendell, the son of the late Lattimore "Jack" and Elizabeth Morgan, Ronnie was a man who thrived on helping others and spending time with family. Ronnie dedicated 40 years to Revlon Inc. as a mechanical engineer where he met many friends and mentored a multitude of colleagues. Outside of work, Ronnie had a passion for fishing, hunting and tinkering. Ronnie is survived by his wife, Elaine King Morgan of Oxford, NC; children, Jonathan Morgan (Sandy) of Wendell, NC, Crystal Morgan Baker (Brandon) of Smithfield, NC, Josh Ramsey of Oxford, NC and Darrin Ramsey of Oxford, NC; and grandchildren, Jackson, Nathan, Lynnox, and Aiden. He is also survived by 4 sisters, 1 brother and many other loving family and friends. Ronnie is predeceased by his parents; 1 brother and 1 sister. The family will receive guests for visitation on Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Gentry-Newell - Vaughan Funeral Home, 503 College St., Oxford, NC 27565. The family will also be receiving one hour prior to funeral services. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 11:00 am at Enon Baptist Church, 2298 Enon Rd., Oxford, NC 27565 by Rev. Steve Brown and Rev. James Shelley. Burial will immediately follow in the Enon Baptist Church Cemetery. Flowers are acceptable or memorial contributions may be made to Enon Baptist Church. The Morgan family is under the care of Gentry-Newell - Vaughan Funeral Home in Oxford.
