Richard Lee Goldthwaite

Oxford, NC Richard Lee Goldthwaite, 70, died at his residence with family oneeptember 1, 2018. Born in Biddeford, Maine to the late Edward Wilbur Goldthwaite and Annette Regina Jette on a cold February day. Richard retired to Oxford to be closer to family. He worked ineesearch Trianee for several years and grew to love the area. Richard was an avid music lover with the Blues playing a huge part in his life. He was a devoted father and will be greatly missed by his family. He is survived by his daughters, Gretchen Goldthwaite Gilmore and her husband, Stan; and Gillianeette Dell and her husband, Craig. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Marcus Young, Jr, Genevieve Gilmore and Clayton Everett Dell. Richard is survived by one brother, Robert Dana Goldthwaite. He will be missed by many family and friends. A private Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to your charity of choice.
