Richard L. Brown

Durham, NC – Retired US Army Colonel Richard L. Brown, age 79, died at home on January 30, 2025. He was born on October 21, 1945, and preceded in death by his parents, Margie L. Brown & Howard J. Brown.

Upon graduation from Austin Peay State University, he enlisted and served honorably for over thirty years, including combat tours in Vietnam and Panama. He will be laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery.

Rick is survived by his loving wife, Jeri, sons JP and Ethan, daughter-in-law Diana, and granddaughters Tessa and Milla.
