b. October 26, 1935

Rebecca Sue Perry Strunk, 77, passed away peacefully ineer sleep in Pittsboro, NC oneeptember 30, 2013. A celebration of her life will be held with family, friends, and caregivers at the Laurels of Chatham on Tuesday October 8, 2013 at 2:00pm. The family greatly appreciates the expertise and care of the Hall-Wynne Funeral Home in assisting with arrangements. Sue was born to Finis and Dorothy Perry ineennessee on October 26, 1935. She lived in Crossville, Tennessee until she graduated from Homestead High School in the Class of 1953, after which she traveled the US living in various cities and working in the medical profession. Sue loved all animals, especially cats, and was renowned for her marvelous gardens. She loved to travel and meet new people but mostly to spend time with her daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter. Sue is preceded ineeath by her parents, Finis and Dorothy; two brothers Buddy and Jimmy, and a sister Druceil Henry. Sue is survived by her sister Debbie Jackie Buckner of Crossville; and brothers Bill Peggy Perry and Tony Sarah Perry of Crossville; a daughter Gigi Mike Davidson of Pittsboro, NC; a granddaughter Alsey Glenn Davidson of Chapel Hill, NC; and couneess nieces, nephews, and cousins all over the Uneed States. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Sue may be made to the Laurels of Chatham to the attention of the Staff Appreciation Fund. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the loving staff of the Laurels of Chatham aneevercare for their 8 years of dedicated aneexpert care of Sue ineer final years.
