Ralph Turner Ellington

Ralph Turner Ellington, 66, of Oxford, NC died Wednesday, April 17, 2019.?? He was born in Vance County on June 26, 1952 to his now predeceased parents, Clement and Hilda Mae Ellington. Ralph was a devoted husband to his wife and father to his children.?? He was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Ralph had a sense of wit that would make you laugh in any conversation you had with him.?? He was retired due to health issues.?? He had been the maneer of Byrd???s Food Store when it was operating in Oxford. In addition to his parents, Ralph was predeceased by his son, Ralph Turner Ellington, Jr.; and his brother, Larry Ellington. Ralph is survived by his wife, Judy Brogden Ellington; daughter, Kim Ellington Stovall (Derek); grandchildren, Bryanna, Torrie, and Tyson.?? He is also survived by his brothers, Jackie Ellington, Howard Ellington, Fred Ellington, and Donee Ellington; and his sister, Diane White. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Tungsten Baptist Church, 3944 Tungsten Mine Rd., Bullock, NC.?? A private cremationeeremony was previously held. The family will receive guests prior to the service from 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm at the church. Flowers are acceptable or memorial contributions may be made in Ralph???s nee to the Tungsten Baptist Church Youth Group, P.O. Box 186, Bullock, NC 27507.
