Paul C. Fields, Sr.

DURHAM ??? Paul C. Fields, Sr. age 62, died April 11, 2016 at Duke Uneersity Medical Center. Paul was born on January 8, 1954 in McKeesport, PA to the late Joseph H. Fields, Jr. and Gloria Johnson Fields. Paul proudly served his country while in the US Navy. He subsequently studied at NCCU and graduated in 1976 with a degree in economics. He was employed with IBM for 29 years prior to his retirement in 2008. He was an avid Steelers fan. Paul is survived by his wife of 37 years, Robin M. Fields, daughter, Dr. Ashley Brooke Fields of Maneester, CT; sons, Paul Cedric Fields, Jr. of Youngstown, OH and Ryan Christopher Fields, Phoenix, AZ; his brother, Joseph H. Fields III of Boise, Idaho; sisters, Joette Zarotney (Ron) and Jacqueline Fields all of Pittsburgh PA; his mother-in-law, Geraldine W. Mitchell of Durham; and several nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded ineeath by his brothers, Roderick and Donald Fields. A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00pm Friday, April 15, 2016 in the Chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service.
