Pattie Mae Thomerson

OXFORD: Mrs. Pattie Mae Thomerson, age 80, died Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Uneersal Health Care. She was a native of Granville County and the daughter of the late Norman Sawyer Sizemore and Maggie Zona Chappell Sizemore. Mrs. Thomerson was a member of West Oxford Baptist Church where she served in the nursery for 52 years and worked for the Granville County Board of Elections. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at West Oxford Baptist Church by Rev. Wes Garner. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Surviving is her husband of 62 years, J. Frank Thomerson; her sons, Danny F. Thomerson of Raleigh; N. David Thomerson of Brantwood, TN; daughters, Conee T. Hockaday of Cary, Kay T. Weary of Grassy Creek and Cynthia T. Stainback of Winston-Salem. She is also survived by her brothers, Thomas Sizemore of Efland, Donald Sizemore of Oxford, Jerry Sizemore of Oxford and her sister, Linda S. Norris of Oxford, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded ineeath by Coleman Sizemore, Larry Sizemore and step-mother Ina Kearney Sizemore. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 13 from 7:00 until 8:30 PM at Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home.
