Patrick Joseph Buckley

Patrick Joseph Buckley, 78 died Sunday in Durham with his family by his side. He was born ineew York City to the late Simon J. Buckley and Anne Gallagher Buckley oneebruary 18, 1927. Patrick moved to Durham from New York in 1973 and became a parishioner at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He is survived by his eight children, Patrick J. Buckley Jr. of Poughkeepsie, NY; Anne Marie Livolsi of Morrisville, NC; Daniel J. Buckley and wife Patricia of South Setauket, NY; Kevin E. Buckley and wife Gayle of Cary, NC; Stephen G. Buckley and wife Jill of Durham, NC; Thomas A. Buckley and wife Michelle of Jacksonville, FL; Mary Theresa Morton and husband Curtis of Durham, NC and Berneette Marie Buckley of Holly Springs, NC; one sister Margaret Winkowski of New York; 18 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Patrick was preceded ineeath by his loving wife of 53 years Mary Patricia Buckley and his sisters Catherine and Sarah Buckley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10:00am Thursday, December 1, from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Steve Patti, OFM presiding. Burial will follow in St. Matthew Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm Wednesday at Hall Wynne Funeral Home and other times at the home of Steve and Jill Buckley, 1132 Woodburn Rd. in Durham. Contributions in Patrick
