Patricia Weaver Goodwin, 81, of Pace, Florida died Friday February 5. 2021 at Santa Rosa Medical facility from COVID-19. She was born on April 15, 1939 in Durham, N.C. to the late Woodrow H. and Ruby Hight Weaver. Pat was a member of the Olive Baptist Church in Pensacola, FL. Pat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a dear friend to all who knew her.
Pat is survived by her husband of 62 years T. Jerry Goodwin; two children: Tom J. Goodwin and wife Susan, and Leigh E. Goodwin; five grandchildren, Thomas M. Goodwin and wife Sierra, Jeff A. Goodwin and wife Meredith, Anna Goodwin, Kimberly M. Petersen and husband Noah, and Jerry K. Madison and two great grandchildren, Jacob T. Petersen, and Mia Grace Petersen.
A private graveside service will be held on Monday February 22, 2021 at Maplewood Cemetery in Durham, NC with Reverend Tim Williford officiating. Contributions in Pats memory may be made to the Cancer Society or your local church.
