Nelson Manley Farrell

Oxford, NC Nelson Manley Farrell, 77 years old, unexpectedly died on July 3, 2018.?? He was the son of the late Nelson James Farrell and Jessie Elizabeth Sineeton of Aberdeen, Maryland. Nelson was born and raised in Aberdeen, Maryland and moved to Oxford, North Carolina, 16 years ago to be close to his family, with his wife. ??Nelson was an active member of Sharon Baptist Church and a Sunday school teacher for the Senior Class.?? ??He retired from Civilian Government and worked for Walmart in Roxboro, NC. He was a member of the Historical Society of Granville County and a docent for Granville County. Nelson is survived by his loving wife, Judy Farrell; his daughter, Jessica McCall and his son, Matthew Farrell; his brother, Charles William Farrell, Clayton, NC; his sister, Ruth Elizabeth Elliott, Aberdeen, MD and two grandchildren, Hunter and Kalina. Nelson was predeceased by his parents and a brother, James Farrell. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Visitation to be held at Sharon Baptist Church, 6746 Goshen Road, Oxford, NC on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 1:00 pm with a service to follow at 2:00 pm at the Church officiated by Rev. Victor Blackwell. Burial to follow at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery. The Farrell family is proudly being served by Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home, Oxford, NC.
