Nathan Earl White

Raleigh: Nathan Earl White, formerly of Oxford, NC, passed away on April 5, 2010 at the age of 85. He was born neember 22, 1924 and was the son of the late Clarence Judson White aneemma Tillotson White. He was preceded ineeath by his wife Olivia Mae White. Mr. White is survived by a daughter Carol W. Heneen of Clearwater Beach, Florida and a son E. Wayne White of Raleigh. Mr. White was an Army veteran of WWII, a businessman and city official in Oxford for 37 years, including serving as Assistant Chief of Police. He will be remembered as a southerneeneeman with impeccable manners, meticulous appearance and a compassionee and respectful attitude towards others. The family would like to express their appreciation to his physician Dr. Lalita Sidina, the staff at Morningside Assisted Living and Hospice of Wake County for their extraordinary attention and care. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday April 9, 2010 at the Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Chapel 503 College St. Oxford, NC 27565. Burial will be Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services.
