Natalie Ruth Herndon

Natalie Ruth Herndon, age 27, died at Duke Hospital following complications from childbirth on July 27, 2023. She was born on September 19, 1995 to the late Randal Kelso Herndon and Debbie Hamlet Herndon.


Natalie graduated from Jordan High School in June of 2015. She worked at Best Rentals on Guess Road in Durham and loved her job. She loved dogs, especially her dog Abby. Natalie enjoyed house/pet sitting, going to the beach, shopping and listening to country music. She also enjoyed spending time with family, laughing and just living life and having a good time.


Natalie is survived by her son Noah Douglas Herndon, her mother Debbie Hamlet Herndon, grandfather Ben Hamlet, her aunt Cindy Dillehay, and cousin Stewart Dillehay. Natalie was preceded in death by her father Randal Kelso Herndon, her grandmother Margaret Veasy Hamlet, and her uncle Stewart Preston (SP) Dillehay Jr.


Visitation will be held Friday August 4th at 1:00 p.m. at Hall-Wynne Funeral Chapel, 1113 W. Main St., Durham, NC with service following at 2:00 p.m. Burial immediately after with a procession to Maplewood Cemetery.
