Mrs. Mary Moore Stallworth

MARY MOORE STALLWORTH, 89, died Tuesday, April 22, 2015 at her residence in Pittsboro, NC. A native of Louisville, KY, Mary was the daughter of the late Percy Walton and Flavia Oglesby Moore. She was married to the late William Hunter Stallworth, Jr. for 60 years. As the wife of a textile executive, they lived in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Texas. Mary was an avid golfer. She was also a former member of First Uneed Methodist Church, Rockingham, NC prior to moving to Pittsboro, NC in 2005. Survivors include three sons, Billy Stallworth, Pittsboro, NC, Jim Stallworth (Ramona), Fort Mill, SC and John Warren Stallworth (Pam), Murfreesboro, TN; two daughters, Susan Stallworth Phillips, Pittsboro, NC and Mary Ann Stallworth Fineey, Aiken, SC; nee grandchildreneeleven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded ineeath by her son-in-law, Dave Phillips. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Hall ???
