Mrs. Elna Shirley Pate Williams

Dateline: Pittsboro, North Carolina Deceased: Elna Shirley Pate Williams Elna Williams, 87, peacefully passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Wake Med Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was born on April 16, 1928 ineeaumont, California and was a daughter of the late Ralph Pate and Hattie Hammond Pate. She was a switchboard operator employed by General Telephone. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded ineeath by her brother, Harvey Pate and her sisters, Betty Pate and Marge Pate. She is survived by her sons, Kirk Williams (Candice) of Pittsboro, North Carolina and Scott Williams (Julie) of Amherst, Ohio; and her daughter, Debra Williams Yanosko (James), of Lorain, Ohio; nee grandchildren and seven great-grandchildreneelna was known to family and friends by her middle nee of Shirley. Shirley enjoyed crafting and crocheting and loved animals of all kinds. She will truly be missed. Services for Mrs. Williams are pending at this time.
