Mr. Calvin Raymond Cole

Mr. Calvin Raymond Cole, 90, passed away Monday morning, August 17, 2015 at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford, NC. Mr. Cole was born in Worcester, MA on neember 29, 1924, to the late Ruth Emerson and Franklin Everett Cole. He honorably served in the U.S. Navy and learned to play the accordion, organ and dulcimer. Mr. Cole loved to study the Bible and was a former member of the Cary Alliance Church. He was a voluneer for Trans World Radio. Mr. Cole is survived by his wife, Marian Ozinga Cole, of Pittsboro Christian Village; along with his brother Arthur Cole of Northboro, MA and sisters Margie Howard of Mission Viejo CA, aneevelyn Cole of Arroyo Grande, CA, and his children, John Cole of Holly Springs, NC, Deborah Bourque of Pepperell, MA, Paul Cole of Clinton, MA, and Rebecca Bennett of Maneester, NH. A visitation was held 1:30pm, Friday, August 21, 2015 at Pittsboro Christian Village in Pittsboro, NC. A memorial service followed at 2:30pm. Mr. Cole will be laid to rest in Chatham Memorial Park, Siler City, NC.
