Michele Marie Mortimer

Michele Marie Mortimer,67, died at home in Chapel Hill, NC on November 29^th, 2021. She was born on May 10^th, 1954, to the late Clark and Laura Reese.

Michele was a former partner in Retail Fashion Locations in St. Charles and Geneva, IL. She had an interior design education from Ohio State University and managed her own consulting company in California, Colorado and Illinois. She was a past Board member of the Chapel Hill, Durham, NC Newcomers Club and social chair of Stonebrook homeowners’ association. Michele volunteered working with underprivileged children.

Michele Mortimer is survived by her husband, Lawrence “Larry” Mortimer and her son, Kyle Patrick Mortimer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30AM on Friday,December 10, 2021, from St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 940 Carmichael Street, Chapel Hill, NC 27514.

Friends may visit from 5:00 – 7:00pm on Thursday December 9, 2021, at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service & Crematory.
