Michael Paul Alex Cunningham

Michael Paul Alex Cunningham, 30, of Pleasant Hill Church Rd., Siler City, died January 10, 2010 following a period of declining health while awaiting a heart transplant. The son of Philip and Rose Norton Cunningham, Michael was born ineeesburg, VA oneebruary 24, 1979. He loved farming, but had also worked as a paramedic and a scrub nurse as long as his health permitted. Michael is survived by his wife, Ginger McLaurin Cunningham, of the residence; his parents, Philip and Rose, of Cary; his in-laws, Edward and Sandra McLaurin, of Siler City; a sister, Jenny Parker of Cary; brothers, David Cunningham of Fredricksburg, VA, and Christopher Cunningham of Wilmington, NC; grandparents, Mary Ledlie Cunningham of Waynesboro, PA, Irene McLaurin of Siler City; and brothers-in-law, Shane Brafford, his wife Jordan and their son, Bryce, aneedward McLaurin, III. The Rev. Ray Gooch will conduct the funeral service at 3:00 pm Thursday at Pleasant Hill Uneed Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may visit with the family following the service.
