Mary Pryal

DURHAM-Mary Pryal, 68, formerly of Gastonia, NC, died of cancer early Tuesday, neember 23, 2010, at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham. Mary is survived by her husband of 46 years, Al Pryal, three children, and five grandchildren: Mark Pryal and wife, Heidi, of Silver Spring, MD; Alison Dickey and husband, Jonathan, of Bethesda, MD, and their children Sarah, Joshua, Caroline, and Lauren; and Michael Pryal and wife, Katie, of Durham, and their son Adrian. Mary is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law: Rev. Robert Schmeltekopf and wife, Bettye, of Kerville, TX; Dr. Donald Schmeltekopf and wife, Judy, of Waco, TX; Addie Schmeltekopf of New Braunfels, TX; and Lilla Schmeltekopf of Fort Worth, TX. A memorial service will be offered at 2:00 PM Saturday at Watts Street Baptist Church in Durham, with Rev. Diane Hill presiding. Friends may visit prior to service from 10:00-11:30 AM at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service.
