Mary Hardin Eubanks

Mrs. Mary Hardin Eubanks, 83, died July 2, 2011 at Laurels of Chatham in Pittsboro. Born neember 21, 1927 in Greenville, SC, Mrs. Eubanks was the daughter of Leroy and Pearl Hartsell Hardin. She moved to Durham at age 12, was raised and lived most of her life there. Mrs. Eubanks worked for a number of years at Christian Print Company in Durham before retiring. She attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church as well as Mt. Zion Uneed Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda Wimberly Clark and husband Danny, of Pittsboro; sons and daughter-in-law, Jim and Linda Rochelle of Durham, and Paul Wimberly of Pittsboro; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Martha Eubanks of Morehead City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded ineeath by a son, Charles Reese. The funeral service will be held at 11 am Thursday at Hall Wynne Funeral Home in Pittsboro, with interment to follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 10 10:45 am Thursday at the funeral home.
