Mary Dunn Jackson

Mary Dunn Jackson, 87, died Thursday at Pettigrew Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. Born in Durham, Mary was the daughter of the late Archie L. Dunn, Sr. and Lora Johnson Dunn. She worked at Erwin Cotton Mills for 47 years after which she worked at White Star Laundry. Mrs. Jackson was a member of Faith Fellowship Church. Surviving are her sons, Clifton Ray Jackson and wife, Kathy, of Chester, VA, Roy Lee Jackson and wife Deanna of Butner, and Charlie Joel Jackson and wife Rita of Hillsborough; two sisters, Viola McKeller and Peggy Penny; eight grandchildren and many loving great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Charlie F. Jackson and her daughter, Anee Marie Holder. Funeral Services will be held 2 PM Sunday at Hall-Wynne Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Terry Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawneemorial Park. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Saturday at Hall-Wynne Funeral Home.
