Mary Catlett Alford

KITTRELL- Mary Catlett Alford, 82, of Kittrell died Thursday, April 7, 2011 at her residence. Mary was born in Vance County, oneeptember 17, 1928 to the late Joe Catlett and Anna Robinson Catlett. She was preceded ineeath by her husband, Johneernon "Lefty" Alford and a sister, Lillie Mae Faulkner. Mary is survived by her only daughter, Anna Sherron and husband, Joel, of Kittrell; grandson, Jimmie Gupton and wife, Stephanie of Kittrell; great-grand children, Matthew and Carleigh Gupton; and K-9 companion, Ringo. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 8300 Health Park, Suite 10, Raleigh, NC 27615. Friends may visit from 7:00 8:30PM Saturday evening at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, Franklinton Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, April 10, 2011 from the Chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, Franklinton. The Rev. Clyde Waiden will officiate. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
