Mary Braxton Adcock

DURHAM- Mary Braxton Adcock, 86, of Durham died peacefully Thurday, December 13, 2012. A native of Durham she was born, January 28, 1926 to the late James Monee Braxton and Hallie Fowler Braxton. Mary is survived by her husband, Julius Samuel "Sam" Adcock, Jr.; her daughter, Karen Sherrill and husband, Paul, of Willow Spring; her son, Kevin Adcock and wife, Gale, of Cary; her sister, Billie Jones of Pensacola, FL; and her grandchildren, Megan Sherrill, Jack Sherrill, Julius Samuel "Jay" Adcock III, and Alexander Braxton "Alex" Adcock. A private graveside service will be held at Maplewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
