Marion Harris Edgerton, 91, died Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Treyburn. Marion was borneebruary 1, 1920 in Lynchburg, VA to the late Samuel Henry Harris and Margaret Thacker Harris. Marion is survived by her two sons, Jim Edgerton of Durham, Dale Edgerton of Atlanta, GA, daughter-in-law, Bette Edgerton of Durham; two grandchildren, Kelley Edgerton of Columbia, S.C and Kevin Edgerton of Raleigh. Also surviving are two very dear friends Rosa Beavers of Durham and Laurie Davis of Sumter, SC and their families. She was predeceased by her husband, James H. Edgerton, Sr, in 1972. Friends may visit Monday, April 18, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, 1113 W. Main Street, Durham. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 PM Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Trinity Avenue Presbyterian Church, 927 W. Trinity Ave., Durham, NC 27701 with Rev. Elizabeth Michael officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Section 16. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Ave. Presbyterian Church, 927 W. Trinity Ave., Durham, NC 27701 or Duke Home Care and Hospice, 4231 Medical Park Dr. Suite 101, Durham, NC 27704.
