Margie Gibson

Margie Louise Gibson, 83, died Friday ineendersonville, NC. Born in Durham, she was the daughter of the late Herman Worth Gibson and Myrtle E. Rigsbee Gibson. Margie work for several years at Liggett & Myers Tobacco Company and the Little Acorneestaurant. She later worked at the Goodwill Industries. She was an avid reader and was the widow of the late Carmine Gibson. Surviving are a son, Chester Wayne Gibson of Houston, TX and a daughter, Linda Gibson DuVall of Fountain Inn, SC; three grandchildren, Susan Turner, Amanda DuVall and Sharon DuVall and two great-grandchildren, Gavin and Ashley Turner. She was predeceased by her son, Richard Allen. Graveside funeral services will be held 2 PM Monday, January 12, 2009 in Old Maplewood Cemetery. The Rev. Brian Bird will preside.
