Madeline Gantt

Madeline Gantt died at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC on Monday, June 13, 2016 at the age of 57. ???Madeline was born to Samuel Fox Gantt Sr. and Pattie Sessoms Gantt of Durham on April 11, 1959. She was a waitress at Bullock???s BBQ in Durham for several years. Madeline was also a former member of Trinity UMC in Durham. She had a love for art and found her solace in painting watercolors and drawing. ???Survivors include her sister, Laura Gantt of Winterville, NC; brother, Samuel Fox Gantt Jr. of Durham; and her caretaker Zanetta Tafili, whom the family would like to extend their sincere gratitude for her support and care throughout Madeline???s illness. ???A graveside service will be on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Maplewood Cemetery in Durham, NC. ???The family asks that memorial contributions in Madeline???s memory canee made to the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org/support or to the American Cancer Society. ???Arrangements for the Gantt family are under the care of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service in Durham.
