Louise Bell Obituary Louise Jones Bell, 93, a resident of Oxford, died Sunday, October 6, 2013, at Uneersal Healthcare/Oxford nursing home. Mrs. Bell was born oneeptember 20, 1920, in Ashland, Alabama. She was a resident of Granville County, NC, since 1949 and a member of Amis Chapel Baptist Church. Most of her years were spent working with her late husband, serving the Amis Chapel community through their country store. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Arthur Leoneell, and her son-in-law, John Ray Jones. She is survived by two children, Sandra B. Jones of Mechanicsville, VA, and Arthur Leroy Lee Bell and spouse Meredith of Hayes, VA; two grandchildren, Arthur R. Art Jones and spouse Rebecca of Mechanicsville, VA, and Alison B. Foley and spouse Jake of Williamsburg, VA; and one great-grandson, John W. Jones of Mechanicsville, VA. The family will receive friends Friday, October 11, 2013, from 1:00-2:00PM at Amis Chapel Baptist Church, followed by the funeral service at 2:00PM conducted by the Rev. Terry Howard. Burial will be in the church cemetery immediately after the service.
