Louisa Gray Elliott Wilkins

Oxford Louisa Gray Elliott Wilkins, age 88, died Thursday, August 09, 2012 at Granville Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Tolono U. Elliott and Rosa Franklin Elliott. Louisa was born in Granville County, but was raised in Harnett County. She was a member of West Oxford Baptist Church as well as The Senior Ladies Sunday School Class. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at West Oxford Baptist Church at 3:00 PM by Reverend Wes Garner. Burial will follow at Meadowview Memorial Park in Oxford. The family will receive friends on Saturday at the church from 2:00 until 3:00 pm prior to the service. Surviving are two sons, Fleming Wilkins of Henderson and Glenn Wilkins of Kittrell; two daughters, Bonee Howard of Wilmington and Becky Hilliard of Raleigh. Louisa is also survived by eight grandchildren, Mark Wilkins, Wendy Pegram, Cindy Laney, Nikki Nichols, Matthew Hilliard, Whitney Hilliard, Kelly Blackmon, Brian Gardner, aneeleven great grandchildren; and a special niece, Delores Johnson. She was preceded ineeath by her parents and her husband, Edward Lewis Wilkins. Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home is assisting the Wilkins family.
