Lou Ella Turske

Lou Ella Turske, 83, Of Durham, NC died Tuesday, October 16, 2018. She was born in Tyler County, WV on June 24, 1935, daughter of the late Harry and Carolyn VanSickle. Lou is survived by her son, Michael Turske and his wife, Tammy, of Gallatin, TN; grandsons, Joel Turske and his wife, Amanda, of Philadelphia, PA, and Aaron Turske, of Cookeville, TN; great grandson, Soloman Dale Turske. She is also survived by many loving friends and church family members. Lou is predeceased by her husband, Dale W. Turske; and her sister, Wanda McEowen. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11:00 am from Grace Lutheran Church, 824 North Buchanan Blvd, Durham, NC 27701, with Rev. Bryan Chestnutt officiating. Inurnment will immediately follow in the Grace Lutheran Church Columbarium. The family will theneeceive friends and guests in the church???s Fellowship Hall for reception.
