Lorelei Douglas Barnes

Mrs. Lorelei Douglas Barnes, 37, of Farrington Road, Apex, died April 23, 2013 ineer home following an extended illness. Lorelei was born May 13, 1975 ineebb County, Texas, the daughter of George Richard Douglas and Sonia Laura Garcia Douglas. She was a graduate of the Uneersity of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and was the Vice-President of Barnes Precision Machinery. Survivors include her husband, Aneew Sheridan Barnes; father and step-mother, George and Renee Douglas of Cameron; birth mother, Sonia Garcia of Texas; sisters, Sonia, Shannon and Nannette Douglas; brother, Eddie Douglas; father-in-law, Patrick Barnes; brothers-in-law, Pat and Tim; and sisters-in-law, Susan, Kim and Mindy. Lorelei was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Forbes Barnes. The service to celebrate the life of Lorelei Douglas Barnes will be conducted at 2 o'clock, Sunday afternoon, April 28, 2013, from the graveside on the Barnes Family Farm. Friends may visit with the family following the service. Memorials may be directed to the preferred cancer charity of the donor's choice.
