Lola Kathryn Davis

Oneecember 11, 2014 Lola Kathryn Davis, a longtime resident of Franklinton, NC, completed her long journey to the Kingdom of Joy. lola who recently moved to Durham, NC passed peacefully at the Duke Hospice in the presence of her family and Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior. Lola was the daughter of the late Foster and Lola Pace of Franklinton, NC. Lola is survived by her sisters Joyce Maxine Greathouse of Franklinton and Patricia Pace Markham of Creedmoor, NC. She leaves behind her 4 children, Donna Stricklaneedwards, Joyce Strickland Byard, Michael Bryant Strickland, Cathy Strickland Kearney, 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Lola will be received ineeaven by her late son William Pace Strickland, her brother, Alex Foster Pace, as well as the many family members and friends who have made the journey before her. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 13, 2014 in the Chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, Franklinton. The Rev. Clyde Waiden will preside.
