Lois Marie Dezern

DURHAM – Lois Marie Lloyd Dezern, age 88, died peacefully at Duke Regional Hospital on February 9, 2023. A native of Durham, she was born on March 21, 1934, to the late Harry Lee Lloyd, Sr., and Lillian Thompson Lloyd.

Lois is survived by her sister, Virginia Johnson of Durham and brother, Harry Lee Lloyd, Jr. of Georgia. Lois is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Carl M. Dezern and brother, Veron Lloyd.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Hall-Wynne Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jeff McCarthy officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 1:00-2:00 PM in the Chapel before the service.
