Linda Roy League

Linda Roy League, 64, of Durham died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at Duke Uneersity Medical Center. She was born in Norfolk, VA to the late Doris Waldrop and Jesse Cox League, Sr. on October 8, 1942. Linda is survived by her sister, Anne L. Tice and husband, Harrell D., of Durham, NC; her brother, Jesse C. League, Jr., of Raleigh, NC; niece, Mindy L. Wilson and husband, Chris, and their children, Kyle, Joshua and Christopher of Wake Forest, NC; cousin and very dear friend, Richard N. League of Raleigh, NC; aunt and unee, Edna and Myron Hamilton of Charlotte, NC; unee, Irving B. Wilson of San Antonio, TX; aunt, Ruth Waldrop of Knoxville, TN; and cousins, Judy H. Grubbs, Russell Wilson, Betsi W. Armistead, Thomas Waldrop, Duncan Waldrop, James Waldrop and Sarah Waldrop. A memorial service will be held 2:30 PM Saturday, June 10, from Trinity Uneed Methodist Church in Durham. The Reverend Duke Lackey will preside.
