Lily Pergerson Ball

FRANKLINTON, NC Lily Easter Pergerson Ball, 74, of Franklinton died Sunday, March 23, 2014. A native of Franklin County, daughter of the late Jasper J. and Ida Faulkner Pergerson, widow of Ernest Jasper Ball. She spent 25 years of her life caring for others as an Activity Coordinator at Springmoor Life Care Retirement Community. She enjoyed serving in the Faithful Workers Sunday School Class and Bible Study Group at Franklinton Baptist Church. Lily was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Memorial Service will be conducted at 7 PM, Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Franklinton Baptist Church by Rev. David Averette. Surviving is her daughter, Carol Abbott George of Kittrell, sons, Charlie Gray Hunt, Jr. of Henderson, Richard Wayne Hunt of Creedmoor, step-soneernest Jasper Ball, Jr.Ann of Franklinton, Danny Ball of Raleigh, sisters, Ruby Perry Gene of Youngsville, Dora Johnson Johnny of Wake Forest, Brenda Perry William of Youngsville, sisters-in-law, Emma Pergerson of Louisburg, Betty Pergerson of Youngsville, 16 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Robert Pergerson and Jasper Pergerson, Jr. and sisters, Marie Ross, Joyce Manness and Betty Lou Pearce. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Franklinton Baptist Church, 102 West Mason Street, Franklinton, N. C. 27525. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
