Lillie Currin Shambley

Lillie Currin Shambley age 87, died on October 21, 2021. She was born on September 9, 1934, in Stovall, North Carolina to the late Williamson and Mina Currin. 

Lillie is survived by her son, William Moss (Rowena) and daughter, Michelle Sowell step-sons, Maurice Shambley (Elaine) and Joel Shambley (Linda), brother, John Currin (Peggy), and sister Betsy Lankford. Lillie is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Daniel Tillotson, Minna Henderson, Matthew Moss (Stephanie), and Dana Campbell (Clinton), and 8 step-grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 4 great step-grand children.

Lillie was preceded in death by her husband, William Albert Shambley, her brother, Julius Currin, son-in-law, David Sowell, step-daughter, Jean Hutter and step-son-in-law, Ed Hutter, and a brother-in-law Jack Lankford. 

Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Monday, October 25, 2021 in the Chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service. The burial will be private.

Friends may visit from 10:00 – 11:00AM Monday, October 25, 2021 in the Chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service prior to the service.
